Guposhan farm was founded in October 1957, it was called "the Guposhan forest management" to management and protection of natural secondary forest

May 1958 was renamed "Guposhan Woodland"

1965 opened tea forest school work-study, and the establishment of tea forest brigade

1982 was designated as the provincial Water Forest Reserve, in May 2002 and changed its name to Guposhan autonomous region Nature Reserve Management Office

1992 by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Forestry Department approved as a provincial forest park

1996 by the State Forestry Department approved as a national forest park

1998 was named the Youth Science and technology education base area

2000 was named the region's tourist civilized demonstration sites, the region's environmental protection point of excellence

2005 was awarded the top ten scenic spots in Guangxi title

2006 by the National Tourism Administration named the national 4A level scenic spots

2014 was named the national tourism demonstration area (first)

March 2014 established the Hezhou Guposhan scenic Ltd.
